I am not your typical shopaholic that falls in love with materialistic stuff but there are a few things that really get my attention and almost has me drooling over them.
Once in a blue moon will I tell someone about a product that I really liked and it is almost never that I will tell my other half that I want anything.
Wife: What do you want for your birthday?
Wife: Shouldn’t you buy new shoes?
Me: Nah, mine are still good.
This is the type of conversation that I usually have when it comes to buying things but this one backpack that I am about to review is one of the few that has actually got me saying “wow”.
Introducing the Daypack by DSPTCH!
And that is pronounced “dispatch” minus vowels, which is definitely a thing these days as normal names are just not cool anymore.
Whatever the idea may be behind the brand, I must say that I am a huge fan of their products and most especially this specific product.
I can’t even tell you how many times I have gone to their website and how much I have contemplated on just buying this thing but I finally pulled the trigger and I’m sure glad I did.
Let’s get a little more into things and let’s see what makes this backpack a must buy in my opinion.
Look, Style, Design…
Need I say more?
I mean, look at this thing!
Every angle gives you a feel of great quality and almost like you’re looking at a new bag every time.
If you’re going with looks alone (which I mostly do), this one knocks it out of the park.
I’m usually a fan of basic colors but this whole moss green thing has gotten my attention.
Even if there are like ten colors to choose from, for some reason, this specific color just makes this bag look a lot better than the rest.
If I were to get this in any other color, let’s just say I wouldn’t buy it.
Then again, I think for the price of this pack it is still worth it.
But is the DSPTCH Daypack Durable?
Okay I didn’t throw this thing around or kick it down the stairs but for regular usage and almost an everyday carry, this thing will not tear or have some of its threading coming off.
I say almost an everyday carry because I don’t do much walking around with this as I go from the car into a coffee shop or something but that’s about it.
Then I take my one trip a year without the kids to Vegas and that is about as much usage this thing gets.
Do keep in mind that sometimes I do change out my pack to try to be some kind of fashionista but even at that, I really don’t have anyone to show it off too.
I like nice things but if it can’t serve a basic purpose or have at least one cool feature then I might not give in.
From the outside, you can see that there is a quick access pocket and some compression straps (which is probably underused) but that alone is already a sign that at the very least some thought was put into this thing.
Heading into the main compartment, you have your storage space for your laptop (up to 15″).
As a person who works from a computer this is a must.
So even if this pack looks as good as it does and it can’t store a laptop, then that would mean that I won’t be owning one.
It does come with a cord management system designed for the modern world as well as an internal compartment for a water bottle.
Simple but functional is what you can expect with the DSPTCH Daypack and this is just the way I like it.
This is another huge pro for the DSPTCH Daypack.
For something that looks so sleek and amazing, it is only $180.
If you’ve gone through different backpacks or any type of bags for that matter, you will know that these things are not going to cost you under $100 unless you get some rugged pack like the Nitecore BP20, which also doesn’t look as nice.
There are many bags that cost over $300 and trust me, they are not as nice as this one.
It’s really hard to find these on the actual site as they are usually sold out but I found it in Navy Blue on Amazon.com if that is something you might be interested in
Final Opinion of the DSPTCH Daypack
If you’re anything like me and you don’t want to spend any money, but still kind of like nice things, then this is one that you will want to get.
Don’t just get the Daypack either, get one in green.
If it ain’t green then just forget about it.
Okay, I’m kidding.
I do think this is a great buy and one everyday carry that can last a very long time.
Did I mention that this comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY?
Well it does, so you don’t ever have to worry about getting a crappy product.
We give the DSPTCH Daypack two thumbs up and definitely one to consider if you’re in the market for a nice backpack.
Thanks for reading my DSPTCH Daypack review and I hope you enjoy your new pack if you do decide to get it.
